ABOUT
Overview of Rodemnamu School and Koryoin Students
Rodemnamu School
Rodemnamu School is a beacon of hope for Koryoin students who have fled from their homes in Ukraine. With modest facilities and infrastructure still in development, educators and administrators of the school are determined to provide quality and affordable education to the young learners studying here.
Koryoin Students
Koryoin students are refugees from North Korea who have fled to Russia. The language barrier, cultural difference, and lack of resources to overcome these obstacles create additional difficulties for them, making it hard for them to access the education that they deserve.
Challenges Faced by Rodemnamu School
Classroom Capacity
The number of students who enrol continues to increase, as the school is popular among low-income families. As a result, classrooms housed in container boxes, served as makeshift structures.
Sanitation Facilities
The school must rely on shared restrooms, which are unable to cater to the school's growing population, resulting in sanitation concerns.
Outdated Technology
The school is lacking updated technology equipment like computers, printers and projectors that aid effective teaching and learning process.
Services Provided by OURZIP
Volunteer work
OURZIP provides volunteers to the school for developing and conducting extracurricular programs, organizing events, and improving infrastructure.
Educational Resources
OURZIP provides resources to educate the students in areas such as English, mathematics, and sciences to help improve the learning outcomes of Koryoin students.
Affordable Dormitory Facilities
OURZIP manages the dormitories of Rodemnamu school, providing a safe, stable, and affordable place to stay for all Koryoin students.
